Tidewater Brittany Club is having a fun trial  at Kathy Shannon's farm near Dillwyn, VA on December 4, 2010 and have graciously included Northern Virginia Brittany Club to participate. The fun trial will be to practice for future trials and hunt tests and just to have fun with the dogs.Will post information as soon as we receive it.

This simulated hunt test allows our Brittany's of all ages to do what they were bred to do, find and point birds. This large preserve provides a safe environment for both you and your dog. Whether you and your Brittany are new to the field or are an experienced team, this is a great opportunity to work your dog on planted quail, meet other members, share experience and show your support for the club. It will also be a great warm up for the NVBC Fall Hunt Test the following day. The event is usually scheduled the day before the NVBC Fall Hunt Test and at the same location as the Fall Hunt Test.  The Training Day is intended to provide an opportunity to run your dog in an environment similar to a hunt test but in a relaxed and informal structure. This is a unique training opportunity for both Brittanys and their owner handlers.   

	A fun learning opportunity for Brittanys, their owners and family members. Guests, potential members and their Brittanys are welcome.		This simulated hunt test/field trial allows our Brittanys to do what they enjoy most - run and work in the field looking for birds.
Members and guests share experiences and offer advice on all facets of the Brittany experience –field work to the show ring; obedience to agility and more.
	Whether you and your Brittany are new to field activities or working on finishing a title, this is a great opportunity for dogs and handlers of all ages.		Pen raised quail will be planted for field work. Members are available to help you get your dog started in field work.
