October 5, 2011 - NVBC and the Wilderness Pointer Club are joining together to present a Combined Hunt Test Weekend on December 3rd and 4th. This includes four Hunt Tests, one weekend and two courses all at one location: Slate River Farm in Dillwyn, VA. Premium to be published soon. April 26, 2011 -Please support the Northern Virginia Brittany Club Specialty show on May 21st and supported entry on May 22nd. These shows will be held at the Prince William County Fairgrounds in Manassas VA. Check out the trophy list: Puppy Sweeps, Veteran Sweeps, BOB, BOS, BOW, Winners/Reserve Winners on Saturday. BOB, BOS and BOW on Sunday. Trophies for High Scoring Brittany in each class in Obedience, too.

March 11, 2011 - Our club needs your help! If you want to ensure that the Northern Virginia Brittany Club continues and meets our mission it needs members and members-to-be to step forward. The few folks who have done ALL the work are dwindling. With your membership, new or renewal, please commit to help. The fall Hunt Test planned to be held in October will only occur if YOU help! On a very personal level, I could NOT own a Brittany and NOT belong to a local Brittany Club. Whether it was in Virginia or now in New Mexico, these clubs afforded me and my Brittanys opportunities to achieve many goals. The most important goal is achieving a higher quality of life for my Brittanys. I'm forever grateful for the guidance and comradery of my fellow club members. Tom Mauter

April 18, 2010 - With the passing of Fred Angel we lost one of our original members and founders of the Northern Virginia Brittany Club.

April 12, 2010 - The Central Carolina English Setter Club is sponsoring an AKC hunt test seminar on June 26, 2010 in Concord, NC, with easy access to I-85. This is put on by AKC and is aimed at all participants of pointing breeds hunt tests, including handlers, owners, and judges Closing date is June 16. Event flier.
