PRESIDENT’S Cup Award

Anyone, who has put a title on his or her Brittany for 2011, please let Joann Anders know so she can arrange for both of you to receive your recognition.  If your Brittany has been awarded a Field Champion, Amateur Field Champion, Show Champion, a Master or Senior Hunter, an Obedience Title or an Agility Title during the year, please provide Joann with a copy of the appropriate AKC certificate no later than November 10, 2011. The period of eligibility for the events is from November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2011.

In an effort to be more efficient and try to save on expenses for the club, the dogs that have earned a President's cup in the past will be using their original cups for additional engraving as titles are earned.  It will be the responsibility of the owner to get the cups to Joann Anders by the November 10, 2011, as well as the  responsibility of the owner to pay to have the engraved cups shipped back to them. This effort will result in a substantial savings for the club.

Note:  THE ENGRAVER MUST HAVE THE CUPS AT SPECIFIED DATE TO GET ENGRAVING DONE BY CHRISTMAS. IF JOANN ANDERS DOES NOT GET INFORMATION IN TIME, NO CUP WILL BE AWARDED.

Although a President’s cup is not awarded for Junior Hunter title or Rally titles, we like to recognize those that have accomplished a JH or various Rally titles in the Dog of the Year ad that we put in the ABC, so send me a copy of AKC certificate or announcement from the ABC magazine.

Reminder

All NVBC awards (President's Cup, Dog of the Year & Jake’s Plates) will only be available to members who make a contribution of time and effort to the club. Contributions may include but are not limited to the following: Actively chair an event (field trial, hunt test, specialty show, fun/training event), breeder referral or nomination committee, commit to work an event (planting birds, sending out premiums, getting judges, arranging lunch at club events, hosting annual meeting/holiday party), or hold a position on the Board of Directors.
